Ofqual has recently published the following documents:
- A blog on bias in teacher assessment results. The blog contains a link to literature review on systematic divergence between teacher and test-based assessment. While the review reaches several conclusions, it doesn’t necessarily follow that there will be bias in teacher assessments this academic year. It does, however, highlight the importance of having safeguards in place, including quality assurance arrangements.
- A blog on teacher judgements in 2021: what we can learn from 2020. The blog contains a link to two detailed reports on centre judgement research from summer 2020. We conducted some research with teaching staff to understand their views and experiences of the judgement process.
