Establishing the ISRSA Research Network
The ISRSA Research Network (“the Network”), launched in November 2018, was founded to enable teachers of Religious Studies in prep and secondary schools to engage in pedagogical research within Religious Studies to enhance teaching and learning throughout the independent school sector
Aims
To provide an opportunity for teachers to collaborate with one another on a national scale to deliver lessons which have the greatest impact on children based on evidence-informed practice from research across the independent school sector.
To support Religious Studies teachers through a research network to learn from one another and share best practice.
To focus on teaching and learning in Religious Studies to enhance the provision of Religious Studies teaching in the UK through a network of teachers with a mutual interest in pedagogy and maintaining Religious Studies as a rigorous academic subject of vital relevance with a challenging and timeless voice.
